This Is The One Thing Cadillac Will Never Do With The CT4 And CT5

1 min read

Cadillac Society has learned the CT4 and CT5 won’t be part of General Motors’ electrification strategy. Sources have told the publication both sedans will only be offered with a combustion engine for the foreseeable future and also ruled out the possibility of hybrid and plug-in hybrid variants.

Despite the heavy focus on EVs, Cadillac will also be expanding its combustion model lineup with the high-performance Blackwing variants of the CT4-V and CT5-V. According to reports, the CT4-Blackwing will be powered by a 3.6-liter twin-turbo LF4 V6, which produced 464 hp and 445 lb-ft of torque in the ATS-V, while the CT5-V will use the same 6.2-liter LT4 V8 as the CTS-V and C7 Corvette Z06.
