Tesla has told a California regulator it may not achieve entire self-driving technologies by the close of this 12 months, a memo by the California Department of Motor Motor vehicles (DMV) observed by Reuters showed.

The California Highway Patrol is investigating why a Tesla automobile crashed into an overturned truck on a freeway near Fontana, California, on Wednesday, killing the Tesla’s driver. The patrol did not say no matter whether the Tesla was functioning on Autopilot or not, Reuters reported.

Federal freeway basic safety regulators are investigating a lot more than 20 mishaps involving Tesla motor vehicles, the report added.
