Man buys Pontiac 6000 14 years after leaving owner a note | Car News

“My enjoy for Pontiacs commenced when I was five”, he informed Motor1. “My grandparents acquired a 1992 Pontiac Bonneville SSEi brand name new at the time. I loved that auto it experienced ample buttons and digital gizmos to infatuate any automotive-curious child. When I turned 16, I was gifted that auto as my very first auto considering that then I have liked learning much more about Pontiac as a brand name.”

And so, naturally, when Simons saw a Pontiac 6000 SE AWD whilst attending Central Washington College in Ellensburg, Washington, he wrote the owner a take note, leaving his email handle and a special ask for: to get hold of him if he ever desired to sell the auto. That was in September 2007.

“I realized this was a unusual auto when I saw it, all those several years back, and realized it wouldn’t damage anything leaving a take note. If anything, it would clearly show appreciation in the direction of the owner”, he discussed.

Very, that owner, Dean Ross, held on to the take note right up until his dying in March 2021 at age ninety seven. Dean Ross’ son and grandson observed the take note and then contacted John Simons.

The auto is in superb situation with only 107,000 miles on the odometer. And certainly, Pontiac available an all-wheel drive sedan again in the working day.
