Canada is to commit C$8m (US$6m) to build 160 speedy chargers at seventy three destinations for EVs across Ontario.
Funding is provided through Natural Sources Canada’s Electric Vehicle and Different Fuel Infrastructure Deployment Initiative (EVAFIDI) and will allow Hydro One and Ontario Electrical power Generation (OPG) to build 1 of the Province’s major EV networks.
