2020 saw the loss of legendary Porsche motor builder, Hans Mezger. In 2021, the automotive market claims goodbye to one more legend, Bruce Meyers, who passed away at age 94. Best remembered for developing the Meyers Manx, Meyers was a surfer, inventor, artist, war hero, and racecar driver who altered the system of automotive culture with his Volkswagen Beetle-dependent off-street buggy.
Meyers’ corporation only manufactured seven,000 of the authentic fiberglass-bodied Meyers Manx cars, but his design turned the basis on which approximately all “dune buggies” were being developed. Resources think that all around 250,000 Meyers-impressed buggies have been developed throughout the world.
