2024 Subaru Impreza RS
Disclosed currently at the 2022 Los Angeles Car Demonstrate, the redesigned 2024 Subaru Impreza is noteworthy for what it gains, and for what it loses. Gone is an available manual transmission, and more considerably a sedan variant. Returning for ’24 is the sporty RS trim amount. An RS variation of the Impreza was previous offered in 2007.

Mechanically identical to the Crosstrek tiny crossover, the Impreza shares that well-known Subaru’s standard architecture and powertrain selections, but is considered a car, and therefore rides reduced to the ground, and is not marketed with the pretense of off-road functionality. For 2024, only a 4-doorway hatchback will be supplied.
The new Impreza options updated exterior and interior styling, and an improved Eyesight basic safety and driver-guidance technique.
The 2024 Impreza will be readily available in three trim concentrations: base, Activity, and the aforementioned RS. Base and Sport Imprezas are run by a 152-horsepower 2.-liter motor. Exclusive to the RS is a 182-horse 2.5-liter powerplant. The ’24 Impreza will come only with a CVT-automated transmission. And, like all Subarus apart from the BRZ athletics car or truck, the Impreza will arrive with typical AWD.
The new Impreza is predicted in showrooms this Spring.

We’re bummed about the sedan, but there is practically nothing like the practical utility of a little, well-sorted hatchback. We’re likely to miss out on the manual transmission, but Subaru is not the only car brand undertaking absent with stick change. If the new Impreza is something like the very last, it is going to be fairly enjoyment to drive, and an very affordable way for customers to get into an AWD car or truck.
