Porsche has said the Macan EV will offer a significantly longer range than the Taycan, which has up to 227 miles of range in its entry-level 4S guise. As we’ve seen in previous spy shots, the cabin adopts a tablet-style display for the gauge cluster and a large central screen for the infotainment system, but the design could change when the final production model arrives. Since it’s fully electric, the Macan’s gear shifter has also been removed.
Production of the electric Macan is expected to start at the end of 2022 and go on sale as a 2023 model, but it could be revealed online before then. We’ll have to wait and see how the Macan EV develops over the coming months when more prototypes get caught being tested in the wild.
